There is a clear colour scheme of red, black and white. Which are bright colours and have connotations of youth and beauty. Especially red which has connotiations of passion and love, which also reflects Justin Bieber as he is often presented as a 'heart throb' or 'heart breaker'. This reflects the target audience, as the target audience are young teen females. This is also the house style of the magazine which is established between both pages and throughout the magazine.
There is a clear structure of an interview style article, answer throughout the page of the magazine. This therefore limits the amount of text on the page. Furthermore, this makes the target audience feel like they know more about the person being interviewed, in this case Justin Bieber.
There is a image that takes up the whole of a single page out of the double page. This image draws the attention of the target audience due to its size, therefore it must be relevant to the target audience. Justin Bieber is looking directly into the eyes of the target audince, which establishes direct address between him and the target audience. This might excite the target audicne which makes them want to buy the magazine.
There is a lot of black space surrounding the image, this therefore shows the effectiveness and the significance of the image, as there isn't anything that could draw attention away from image, on the page with the image on.
The text on the magazine is arranged into three columns, this adds structure to the magazine, and makes it easier for the target audince to read and follow.
There is a pull quote directly from Justin Bieber himself, which is big an bold. it is also written in serif font, which has connotations of femininity, which therefore relates to the target audience. This introduces the content of the magazine, and the double page spread.
