Editing of images
First open 2 of the same picture in photoshop for ease. With the first picture I used the background eraser tool,
to rub out the background and just leave the model.
Next open the 2nd image and use clone stamp tool
and use to remove all objects in the background including the model.
Move model from one document to the other document and place on the side of the page .
After constructing the speed video for my double page speed video. I changed some aspects of my double page spread due to feedback from other people. Therefore my speed video will differ from my final piece.
I desaturated the photo and decrease the brightness in order to give the photo an 'edgy' and 'gloomy' vibe and dark colours are a convention of RnB magazines. Also, my background through the magazine are black therefore I continued to follow this theme in my image.
Similarly, to my first DPS to construction my 2nd DPS, I edited the photo by erasing out the background.
So, that all that was left was the model and the piano.
Next I added a black background by using the paintbucket tool, and fill in the background black so that there will be consistency throughout my magazine as I also used a black background on my contents page. And the fact that my model was dressed in white, would mean that the blackground would make her stand out from the page more. Compared to any other background
Next, I seleted only her face using the quick selection tool and increased the brightness so that her face was brighter than the rest of her body. Therefore making her facial attributes more highlighted.
